　　Petroleum is a mixture of gaseous, liquid, and solid hydrocarbons. It is a thick, dark brown liquid that occurs naturally and is used primarily as fuel oil and gasoline, as well as a product of many chemical industries, and is known as the "blood of industry." About 80 per cent of the world's recoverable oil reserves are located in the Middle East, of which 62.5 per cent are located in Saudi Arabia (12.5 per cent), the UAE, Iraq, Qatar and Kuwait. Russia has about 110 billion barrels of crude oil reserves, ranking sixth in the world, and is one of the major producers of international crude oil. CST has in-depth cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, Russia and other countries in transportation, refining and other aspects, providing trade exchanges for domestic large and medium-sized refining chemical plants and helping the development of the petrochemical industry.
